Hi friends! Small announcement: I am now officially a teacher of this yoga thing.
After a long period of feeling disconnected and unaligned to what I was doing, I decided to leave my job and enrol in a yoga teacher training. I didn’t have a solid plan, I just knew that I wanted to explore my place within this practice that I felt so drawn to and that had brought me back to my love of movement.
I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training with the incredible people at @human.kind.studios just over 3 weeks ago. I left the course feeling more passionate about yoga than ever, and with a deep sense of knowing that I was on the right path.
After a quick yoga retreat to Bali to rest and assimilate my learnings I am now itching to begin my teaching journey. I am so excited to share with you all the parts of yoga that have deeply resonated with me and to bring my love of creative expression and embodied movement into my teaching.
I have a website (woah… weird) where you can see my teaching schedule and book into my classes (the link is in my bio or you can DM me and I will send it through to you directly).
I will post about my classes on here too.
Come hang out on your mat with me soon x
Thank you to the very talented @amytaeuber, @brando_h30 and @sophie_taeuber from Sixteen Media (launching soon) for the snaps! π·

Thank you @human.kind.studios’ @tessaleon__ and @fromadamwhiting for creating such a special experience in this special part of the world for a group of humans who arrived on this retreat as mostly strangers and left as close friends x

7 years later and she’s finally got her piece of paper π
Thank you to everyone who supported me through my seemingly incessant university journey. In particular, @will.i.am.was.and.continuetobe who patiently proof read my essays that were littered with mistakes, @ryrydancer21 who had to bear the brunt of my many meltdowns, and @ameliejayy whose modern approach to teaching and whose work on diversity and inclusivity in the marketing space continue to inspire and influence me.
Side note: loving the cape situation π§βοΈ

Here’s to a lifetime of nights spent dancing in the kitchen and weekends spent finding the best places to watch the city lights; of long drives listening to quiz podcasts and days at home spent fighting for the cat’s attention. Here’s to always with you π€

After years of hating myself in the mirror, forcing my body into positions it didn't want to be in, and losing myself in the futile pursuit of perfection, I think I am starting to form a healthy relationship with dance. At this stage that involves putting spotify on shuffle, playing around with random movement, feeling into the music, and dancing freely without any objective other than expression and fun πΊ

From dusty dirt roads, to pink painted skies, to a school of fish circling our feet… Eyre Peninsula you have my heart. As do the humans (and vans) that went away with us π

Had a little dancey dance today πΊπΌ
